Poor Heather Smalley, she probably misses her WW LPs!

I was going to make a comment about that in the post. She probably does. I remember having a few of the old Peter Pan talking records & I kind of wish I could get a few of them back.

With me I think I just ended up tearing up the pages or stepping on the record.

Woah.....hard to believe that that was a Panasonic (Technics) turntable..uh, record player. I tend to forget that not all turntables were called turntables. (Shudder) I can't imagine how the records sounded on it--even though it was a long time ago, I still think you know when stuff sounds like tinny crap filtered through a tinny crap covered horn.

Although, reading that makes me wish I had those records (45s) they used to put in cereal boxes. Nothing says hip like listening to your favorite 80s band on a cereal record!
